In performing this, I tried to blend—as much as I could—the romantic style of Heifetz and the early 20th century performers, with the actual Beethoven Urtext (an exact copy of the original score). I used many of Beethoven’s actual bowings performing this piece to try to recreate his intentions in the line of phrases.
