Vivat, Crescat, Floreat roughly translates as “may [X] live, grow, and bloom!” It can be followed by the X or shouted at someone you want to hail. While mainly associated with 19th century German student leagues, it is far older and found in a 13th century monastery in Belgium, for example.
Vivat! Crescat! Floreat! is my third blog, and a place to write about things not related to computers and computer games, a place to celebrate things I like, that I consider part of my identity, my heritage, my culture.
